  3. Welcome to the Kirk's Comm Disc II CDROM!

  7. Quick Start Instructions:
  8.  
  9.   Windows 95:
  10.     Insert the cdrom into the cdrom drive.  This will automatically
  11.     start a CDROM browser program called WinView.
  12.  
  13.   Windows 3.1:
  14.     Go to "File" menu under program manager and choose Run.  At the
  15.     Command Line box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive.
  16.     This will install a group folder with icons for this cdrom.
  17.  
  18.     To start the CDROM browser program, double click on the icon called
  19.     WinView, or run the program w16view.exe located at the root directory
  20.     of the CDROM.

  22.  MSDOS Quick Start:
  23.     Change to your CDROM drive and type "view".
  24.     Example: 
  25.           C:\> D: 
  26.           D:\> view

  46. WinView and View:

  49. To make browsing the disc easier, we have included the program WinView
  50. for Windows, and the program VIEW for MSDOS on the CDROM.  These programs
  51. allow you to page through index files, browse through directories on the
  52. CD, view documentations and uncompress/install the program(s) you want
  53. onto your hard disk.

  55. Electronic Product Catalog (MS Windows):

  58. To install Walnut Creek CDROM's Electronic Catalog, choose the RUN
  59. option from the FILE menu under Window's Program Manager.
  60. In the Command Line box, type in d:setup_a (Substitute d with
  61. the letter that identifies your CDROM drive if it's different
  62. from this example)
